GETTING HERE

We're located in the stunning Umbrian countryside, close to Gubbio, Perugia, and Assisi.

CLOSEST AIRPORTS

Car rentals: In each of these airports, there are several car rental companies. We would advise you book the car before your arrival to ensure it's all ready and good to go.

BY TRAIN/BY BUS

The nearest train station is Perugia. We're happy to pick you up from there.

The closest bus station to Suflora is about 800 meters away from the house. The line travels between Gubbio and Perugia. 

BY CAR

From Perugia, take the E45 and exit in Bosco.

 

From there, follow the signs to Gubbio.

 

Around 2 km after a village called Scritto, you'll see signs to Abbazia di Vallingegno. In front of the Abbazia (abbey), turn right and follow the signs for Suflora.

  • We're pretty much in the middle of Italy - so these are the airports that make sense:

    Car rentals: In each of these airports, there are several car rental companies. We would advise you book the car before your arrival to ensure it's all ready and good to go.

  • Both stop at Perugia or Assisi, and we'll be happy to pick you up from there. 

  • In front of the Suflora residence, there's a car port. Should, for some reason, all parking spots be taken, we have an additional car port in front of our own house - just a few steps away from the Suflora residence. Parking is free, of course. 

  • No need for a car. We offer complimentary pick-ups from the train station or airport in Perugia. 

     

    Once you're here, our grocery service means you're always stocked up.

    For any sightseeing trips you may want to take, the charming 800-meter stroll to the bus stop connects you to Gubbio and Perugia. 

    ​

  • Pack light! Our bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and body lotion. Plus, of course, towels and ample toilet paper. All of this will be replaced after a week's stay during the weekly cleaning (included in the price). 

  • Upon arrival, you'll find coffee, sugar, olive oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, dish detergent, dishwasher pads, bin bags, dish towels, paper towels, and cleaning supplies.

    Fancy a fully stocked kitchen when you arrive? Let us know your grocery list at least 3 days before check-in (we'll remind you, don't worry), and we'll take care of it. It's all about easing into your Suflora stay without a worry.

  • Our tap water isn't just drinkable - it's revitalized with the Grander system, making it even more beneficial for your health.

  • Of course you can. Grocery service is on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Just give us your shopping list by 7.30 am on that day at the latest, and we'll bring the market to your doorstep.

    We can also pre-stock your kitchen in advance of your arrival if you wish. 

  • No car keys needed, with a hiking path starting just outside and exclusive paths through our olive grove, past baby apple trees and ancient oak trees.

  • The nearest supermarket called "Conad" is in Gubbio. From Suflora to Conad it's around ten minutes by car.

  • You'll find delicious, typically Umbrian food at the "Il Panaro", around two kilometers from Suflora.

    And of course in Gubbio you'll have plenty of options to dine out. To drive to Gubbio center you'll need around 15 minutes.
